This project is a visual and conceptual study exploring how the Outdoor Wilderness Lab could function on the Wilwood property beginning in 2026–2027 and how it may evolve in the years that follow. Through a series of renderings, video sequences, and a dedicated presentation webpage, the study illustrates how the site can welcome students, teachers, and facilitators in a low-impact, nature-focused environment.

The work showcases two timelines:

2026–2027: A mobile and adaptable camp using existing assets such as the barn, temporary tents, office and restroom trailers.

Future Vision: A long-term, sustainable campus with permanent facilities that enhance comfort, durability, and educational opportunities while preserving the site’s natural character.

The visuals highlight key program elements—outdoor science lessons, challenge course activities, firepit gatherings, archery practice, and nature-based exploration—reflecting OWL’s mission to deliver transformative experiential education connected to the Colorado National Monument landscape.

This illustrative study is not architectural documentation; rather, it helps the district and community visualize potential scenarios, communicate ideas, and support long-term planning conversations.
