The Phoenix Haus Homestead is a conceptual landscape design study exploring how a contemporary Colorado property can evolve into a cohesive, functional, and low-maintenance outdoor environment.

Located at the foot of the Colorado National Monument, the project focuses on integrating the existing residence, a future detached ADU, and a barn within a unified landscape that responds to the site's climate, topography, and exceptional natural setting.

The design emphasizes arrival, circulation, recreation, and long-term stewardship of the property. Native and climate-adapted planting, productive landscapes, gathering spaces, and modern landscape elements create a balance between architecture and the surrounding environment while minimizing maintenance requirements.
